London Underground Temporary Station Signs
These rare temporary station signs are original genuine old London Underground unused stock. They’d be pasted onto safety shuttering or hoardings when building works obscured permanent signs or signage was being overhauled. All of these signs are very rare but some even more so. There's no TRAFALGAR SQUARE or ALDWYCH stations now, the former being renamed in 1979, the latter closing in 1994. The larger ones are approx 32 x 5", the medium ones 21 x 4" approx. These date back at least 40 years. A few of each are available and once they’re gone there’s no more. Please expect some very light evidence of storage, shades and sizes vary slightly. Made of printed paper these are a delight once framed [UK framing service available].
