London Underground Temporary Station Signs

These are rare temporary station signs used when stations were being repaired where the 'static' signs might be obscured or were being replaced. Made of printed paper these signs would be pasted onto safety shuttering or hoardings so passengers knew where they were. All of these signs are very rare but some even more so. There's no TRAFALGAR SQUARE or ALDWYCH stations now, the former being renamed in 1979, the latter closing in 1994. The larger ones are approx 32 x 5", the medium ones 21 x 4" approx. These date back at least 30 - 40 years, probably more. A few of each are available and once they’re gone there’s no more. These are a delight once framed  [UK framing service available].  Worldwide standard P&P is included although additional insured ‘Signed-For delivery’ is strongly recommended . £53 each.
