We’ve all looked at these Line Car Diagrams whilst traveling on the Tube. Perhaps through boredom, or anxiety not wanting to miss our stop or out of interest. Some of you may wonder at the foresight of a few and the vast achievement of many, through blood sweat and tears that worked so hard to build The London Underground. Stunning once framed.

VICTORIA LINE. Opened in 1968 the line now carries some 170 million passengers a year. Laminated, size approx  50 x 6”. £57 inc worldwide delivery.

NORTHERN LINE. Formerly part of the GNR, opened 1890. The busiest London Underground line carrying 206 million passengers a year. Size approx 50 x 6”. This pre-zoning 1980‘s example, £98 inc worldwide delivery. A later zoned example £47 inc worldwide delivery.

DISTRICT LINE. Opened in 1868 and now carries around 190 million passengers a year. Size approx 50 x 6”. Laminated. This pre-zoning example £98 inc worldwide delivery. Only 2 left. Zoned version, semi-gloss paper £49, laminated £54.

CENTRAL LINE. Formed as the Central London Railway which was opened in 1900 by the then Prince of Wales. Now carries around 200 million passengers a year. This 1981 pre-zoning example shows the now closed Epping to Ongar extension that closed in 1994, that delightful single track branch is now operated by a preservation group. £99 inc worldwide delivery. 55 x 6.5”. CENTRAL LINE A later zoned version of the above. Size approx 50 x 6”. £48 inc worldwide delivery. Laminated.

BAKERLOO LINE. Created as the BAKER STREET and WATERLOO RAILWAY and opened in 1906 and now carries around 105 million passengers a year. 54 x 6”. This pre-zoning example from 1982 shows the line from Elephant & Castle to Stonebridge Park. £68 inc worldwide delivery.

Above. This particularly rare pre-zoning version shows the line terminating at Watford Junction, this service was withdrawn in 1982. 54 x 6”, from 1979. £78 inc worldwide delivery.

PICCADILLY LINE. Opened in 1906 and was extended to Cockfosters in the 1930’s and to Heathrow in 1977. Now carries around 175 million passengers a year. From the 1980‘s. This laminated self adhesive example 58 x 6” £89 inc worldwide delivery.

METROPOLITAN LINE. The world’s oldest underground railway opened in 1863 and now carries around 58 million passengers a year. This rare pre-zoning example £96 inc worldwide delivery.
